Webster Technique Certified

Introduction

Designed by Larry Webster, the Webster Technique is meant for expecting women to help reduce the stress on the uterus and surrounding areas by creating a balance in the pelvis. This balance provides the best fetal positioning to eliminate difficulties at birth.

What is the Webster Technique?

In chiropractic care, the Webster Technique is used for “sacral analysis and diversified adjustment” to minimize the impact of sacral subluxation/ SI joint dysfunction. In turn this aids in the neuro-biomechanical of the pelvis. Essentially, it’s the adjustment of the base of the spine attached to the hips. This technique can be beneficial for pregnant women and helps them achieve a safer birth because it creates balance in the pelvis.

What Conditions Does It Treat?

The Webster Technique balances the pelvis, so that the mother and child can both experience a safe birth. It positions the fetus to prevent difficult labor and breeching.
