The face of pediatric chiropractic care
Dr. Amanda Apfelblat, the president of the Michigan Chiropractic Pediatric Association, is one of only 200 chiropractors worldwide who are recognized as Diplomats in chiropractic pediatrics.
Dr. Apfelblat is board-certified in pediatrics by the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice and the Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics. She’s a board member for the Michigan Association of Chiropractors, a representative for the International Chiropractors Association, and a board member of the Westland Chamber of Commerce. Along with her colleagues, Dr. Don Galovich of Sterling Heights and Dr. Nicole Poirier of Shelby Township, she also serves on the board of directors of the Michigan Chiropractic Pediatric Association, a nonprofit organization.
The doctors are thrilled with the stand-alone nonprofit status, because it will allow them to reach more Michigan families and use the organization’s resources to educate and assist families achieve optimal health and wellness. Services include innovative care for infants, children, and pregnant women.
